THE TRUTH
Man is very programable. Practically every cause or belief begins with a
minority then grows by communication or a repetitive action. If you want to
memorize something the best way is to say out loud and say it often and
repetitively.Not every belief system expands into acceptance. The ones that do always
finds resistance in the primeval stages of its development.Man is programmed by different means. One channel is the majority. Most
people do not want to be different. So they "go with the flow" and conform
to just about anything because of majority rules. Another means of programming people is being repetitive. If you hear something over and over day in and day out most people will began to accept it as truth.The enemy of truth is a lie. The devil is the father of lies. He translates
all truth into lies and falsehood. All that satan has ever known from the
time he was created from the dust was John 8:44 Ye are of [your] father the
devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the
beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him.
When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the
father of it.God our Father is the opposite of the devil. Deu 32:4 [He is] the Rock, his
work [is] perfect: for all his ways [are] judgment: a God of truth and
without iniquity, just and right [is] he.
Being the totality of truth, God desires truth from His children. 1Sa 12:24
Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider
how great [things] he hath done for you. Psa 33:4 For the word of the LORD [is] right; and all his works [are done] in truth.When God's Word goes forth from the mouth it accomplishes what it is
designed to do because it is the Spirit of truth which gives it the power.
Where there is truth there is light. Psa 43:3 O send out thy light and thy
truth: let them lead me; Light is the means by which the Children of God journey. The light must come from our inner man. Light and truth walk hand in hand (Pslams 51:6; Pslams 85:10).
Everywhere we see God's truth He also extends His mercy. Psa 61:7 He shall abide before God for ever: O prepare mercy and truth, [which] may preserve him. When a man comes to the truth, drawn by the Holy Spirit, God shows that man mercy.This is because God's LIGHT reveals. In Genesis 4:1 God separated, divided the light from the darkness. Man has attempted to put the two back together again by compromising God's truths. But light and darkness has no fellowship. They cannot be reconciled.
However if there is no anointing from the Holy Spirit when the Word goes
forth then the Word is dead, lifeless and darkness prevails. It is a body
without a Spirit to quicken it. The majority of the mainstream churches
today are preaching a message from God's Word but the Spirit is absent
making it easy from the devil (traducer) of man's thoughts to manipulate it,
distort it and disfigure it into a half truth and even a lie. Luk 8:12 Those
by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away
the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.
When Jesus was being tempted, tested and proven in the wilderness He
withstood satan and resisted his half truths by leaning not upon His own
understanding but rather submitting Himself therefore unto God.The pulpits today are occupied by so many self-willed preachers that the
will of God is often never considered. Thus the people who attend these
assemblies sit week after week and here a message from the tree of good and evil (the tree of knowledge). These are those who are ever learning but
never able to come to the knowledge of the TRUTH (2Ti 3:7)Mat 7:14 Because strait [is] the gate, and narrow [is] the way, which
leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
What is it we are looking for? We are looking for truth which always leads
to the tree of life. It is hard to believe that the vast majority of church goers are missing out on God's truth, but it is a fact.Many things have replaced Gods truth and have directed the minds of
Christians away from truth, life and light. Activities such as recreation,
games, parties, trips etc have half truths but half truths is all a person
has to receive to miss the whole truth.Why am I writing this article? I am not writing it to be judgmental, cruel,
or point fingers. I am writing this under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit
that 3John 1:8 " might be fellowhelpers to the truth."For so many years I sat in church hearing these half truths. Many of the
Pastors and preachers I heard had good hearts. However they were only
repeating what they had heard over and over again. I found myself repeating what I had been taught. Things that I merely took their word for and never studied and researched myself I was now one of those preachers.There were so many things about God I did not understand. I felt like the
truth had been hidden from me. God woke me from this religious sleep and I saw that I was Adam in the garden hiding from the truth. I had been eating
from the wrong tree, even years after I had been Born Again!God began to work His will in my life and suddenly I could see clearly. The
yoke of religion had been cast to the side like Blind Bartimaeus. John 3:21
But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made
manifest, that they are wrought in God.
In order to come out of darkness one must come to the light. We are to
throw off the former thinking and be transformed by the renewing of our
minds. Mar 10:50 And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus. We can sit and beg for religious hand outs, and live like beggars in the church or we can get up and boldly come to the throne of grace to obtain mercy. Only truth will lead a person to the mercy of God and this can only happen if the Spirit draws them.The Bible promises.Psa 96:13 Before the LORD: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.
Truth is followed by mercy. His mercy endures FOREVER. The Lord comes to judge, but His judgements a judgement of justice (Pslams 89:14; Psalms
100:5; Pslams 117:2).Because God is just and because He is merciful His promise to the earth is
total salvation. Psa 98:3 He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.God will spread mercy and truth to ALL the ends of the earth. There can only be one result Pro 16:6 By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD [men] depart from evil.
Truth is not the end, but truth is a primary building block to knowing God's
heart. 1Pe 1:22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth
through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, [see that ye] love
one another with a pure heart fervently:Pilate asked "What is truth." (John 18:38). The Bible declares that Jesus is
truth, Jesus is the Word of God, we should rightly divide the Word of truth.
John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.This is the hour that the Word of God tells us of. John 4:23 But the hour
cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in
spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.It is amazing of how many people religiously and habitually attend church
yet they sit in chains bound to the traditions and doctrines of men never
experiencing the fullness of God. Mat 15:9 But in vain they do worship me,
teaching [for] doctrines the commandments of men (Mark 7:7).
Mat 15:6 Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.We must follow God's truth. John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the
truth shall make you free.
This is the truth that is not always easy to accept because the carnal mind
won't receive it. Jam 3:15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but [is]
earthly, sensual, devilish.
Know ye not that your own carnal mind is "a deceiver and an antichrist"
(2Jn.7) which "is enmity against God?" Ro.8:7 Truly, "this is that spirit of
antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world." 1Jn.4:3However we should no longer be of the world. We have been bought with a
price. The Blood of Christ has redeemed me from the hand of the devil
(carnal mind). This precious blood was shed for truth. It continually
cleanses me from all sin. I am justified, made righteous, sanctified, made
holy and set apart as a vessel of honor by the Great Potter of mankind.The church world with all of its politics, legalistic ceremonies and rituals
have as a whole rejected the truth. Jesus even was a witness of this. John
8:45 And because I tell [you] the truth, ye believe me not.
Adam in the garden had two trees to eat from the tree of knowledge of good
and evil (Barrabas) and the tree of life (Jesus). He saw them both presented
in the SAME garden and yet screamed "Crucify Him, Crucify Him" (Adam, thus plunging mankind into the depth of mortality). Death raised its head because Adam as our representative rejected truth and embraced the lie from his carnal mind.Hence, which Jesus is the mainstream church following? It must be a "story
book Jesus." 2Ti 4:4 And they shall turn away [their] ears from the truth,
and shall be turned unto fables.John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no
man cometh unto the Father, but by me. And if the church is not going to God the Father to worship in Spirit and in Truth then to which other father do they have a choice? It must be the prince of darkness.If a Christian has worldly thinking, they cannot receive Him or know Him
(The Spirit of truth). John 14:17 [Even] the Spirit of truth; whom the world
cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know
him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.The Spirit of truth testifies of Jesus and no one else. John 16:13 Howbeit
when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for
he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, [that] shall he
speak: and he will shew you things to come.The church has been listening to other voices. The church has become
materialistic in their motives, coveting, in dishonesty, walking in
craftiness, handling the word of God deceitfully, perverse disputing of men
of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is
godliness: they go forward all in the name of God. Rom 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
The church fights among themselves. Certain denominations claim that they are the only ones going to heaven. Since they do not know what heaven is I wonder why they want to get there?Many become offended by writings such as this one because they have not
looked into the perfect law of liberty, the Word of God has not been written
upon their hearts. Gal 4:16 Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?I am writing this to point ALL MEN to salvation in Christ Jesus. Eph 4:15
But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is
the head, [even] Christ:God's people must hear and obey. Eph 4:25 Wherefore putting away lying,
speak every man truth with his neighbor: for we are members one of another.Christ must be preached in truth! If mans agenda is put before God's
purposes and plans God promises 2Th 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
If the church continues to follow after the practices of a worldly structure
and incorporate doctrines of devils believing not the truth, but having
pleasure in unrighteousness they will find themselves numbers with the
unbelievers (Matt 24:51; Luke 12:46).Paul wrote about this time that we live in 1Ti 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh
expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving
heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;In Paul's day many false teachers had already been corrupting and polluting the true gospel. 1Jo 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye
have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists;
whereby we know that it is the last time.Jesus warned that when the good seed is sown the enemy will come in behind Him and sow bad seed (preach a false doctrine). Mat 13:28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this.
The Galatians fell into this deception. Gal 3:1 O foolish Galatians, who
hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes
Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?
Paul understood the enemy (devil) was never far behind him. Act 20:29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
Jesus too proclaimed this: Mar 13:6 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am [Christ]; and shall deceive many.The doctrine of our modern churches are not sound because they have built upon the foundation of sand. Sand is easy to dig down into. The houses of
men's doctrines were easy to build, done repetitively and easy on the ears.
This doctrine was the milk which was easy to swallow. 2Ti 4:3 For the time
will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own
lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;Most people will receive a message if they do not have to conform, change,
surrender or submit. A message which forms itself around a man is hardly a
dependable or steady structure. Today is no different than in the days of
the old prophets when the people said Isa 30:10 Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:Men want rules and regulations, laws that are easily followed. This way they feel as though they have earned their salvation. Somehow they have done something so good and wonderful that God cannot pass them up when He hands out His rewards. This person is good that He deserves this gift because of his own worth. This person has become so righteous by doing, and working etc that God has no other choice but to honor him above all others.
Of course this person will not receive his expected reward for he has
labored for it come short of the glory of God. His righteousness was filthy
rags in the eyes of God. This man was like the first Adam who said "I do not
need God, for I am a God." Crucify Jesus and I will earn my salvation. This
reflects the thinking of many modern churches today. Rom 16:18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.In conclusion: I am not advocating ceasing to attend church. I am not
condoning the absence of church attendance. The Bible says Hbr 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some [is]; but exhorting [one another]: and so much the more, as ye see the day
approaching. Mat 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my
name, there am I in the midst of them.Great and marvelous things happen when we come together as a church. Act 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
But we must gather in Spirit and in Truth. 1Cr 5:4 In the name of our Lord
Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power
of our Lord Jesus Christ,We are encouraged to gather together. 1Cr 14:23 If therefore the whole
church be come together into one place, In order to Hbr 10:24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love
and to good works:But we do not want to fall into this dilemma, Mat 13:15 For this people's
heart is waxed gross, and [their] ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes
they have closed; lest at any time they should see with [their] eyes, and
hear with [their] ears, and should understand with [their] heart, and should
be converted, and I should heal them.Jesus commanded, Mat 15:10 And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:
Understanding can only come by divine revelation from the Spirit of God.
So Jesus says: Luk 8:18 Take heed therefore how ye hear:
Jesus said this because some people hear only what they want to hear. Others won't listen because they don't like what is being said. Man's thinking always rejects God's truth. Pro 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof [are] the ways of death.
My hope is to encourage each person to follow after God and not man. Col 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
Man's ways always produce condemnation, guilt, self will, pride and
blindness (Matt 12:1-7)If we will "seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all
these things shall be added unto you" (Matt 6:33).Bound in Christ Jesus,
