WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO BECOME SAVED?

The Question of salvation is a question that is in the hearts of all people and there are many varied understandings of how we become saved, or if there even is salvation. One thing is for sure it is not our plan, for we are not God who does the saving. Salvation is something that we all need, for we feel insecure without this blessed hope in our lives. Some of us would rather that there was no salvation, for the thought of this life carrying on eternally is like hell to them because they suffer so in this life. It is in this suffering that we need to know that in heaven there will be no suffering and that in our suffering we see the need for salvation. One thing is for sure and that is that we can not save ourselves and that there is nothing we can do that will bring salvation other than to surrender to God and let Him save us. We all are saved but we need to come to the knowledge of our salvation and it is this knowledge that saves us.

It is good at this time to pray and ask the God of salvation to reveal to us how we can be saved and what understanding we need in our thinking to allow salvation to take place.

Pray this prayer to God and ask Him to reveal the narrow pathway to you, which will lead you into heaven on earth, pray from your heart and not your mind.

"Loving Father of salvation and our saviour, our Lord of salvation Jesus the Christ, please give me understanding about salvation and show me the new and the living way to heaven on earth, AMEN."

Salvation is seen by many as something that is sure with only the confession from their mouth of a few words. The depths of salvation is not understood by some people as people still go on in life without the Truth and they have a false hope. One thing is sure, you are not aware of your salvation if you have not received the calling from God and God calls us all in His timing. No one else can save you by sprinkling you with water or making you take a confirmation of belief in a Church ceremony. Salvation is an internal work within your own heart and it comes by you having dealings with the eternal God. Salvation is also assured for all people and we are not to have any fear about loved ones coming into salvation, for Jesus will draw all men unto Himself. It is a comfort to know that you are saved from yourself and it is a real feeling of security that God has called you and that you have responded and made your election sure. Salvation is something that we want to have rather than not have, even though all will be saved it is nice to know that the process is working in your life and that you are co operating with God now rather than opposing Him.

When we are called and we have the Spirit of God speak on the inside of us it is a great security for us and we want everyone to hear the voice of God. Some people hear the voice of God and think that, that is it, I am saved and now I will do religious things in the Church as the Church is the place where saved people go to worship God. Sadly many people in Church have not received the engrafted Word, which is able to save your soul and they can quench your spirit. I have heard it said, " look at that new Christian he is filled with life but it won't be long before the novelty wears off and he settles down like the rest of us." This quenching of the spirit by other Church goers is what really does the process of salvation a lot of harm in a new believer and we as new believers really need to seek a good source of encouragement and learn how to increase in spiritual power and not be diminished by those who are not regenerated. On the other hand this new life, which has appeared within you can grow into a power within you if you take on the challenge to lift the spirit of the congregation by sharing the new Christ life with them. This persecution, which you will come under by other professing Christians can really make you grow or make you shrink in spiritual power and it is good to know that it is not right to be quenched, for the Christ is to take over your whole being to the point that you are fully resurrected.

The Christ is quenched when others are jealous of your new found life and they naturally want to put you down because you are exposing their darkness. This is how Jesus felt when He came against the Pharisees as they were the Church of that day and they were men of great learning and authority of a nation appointed of God to show the nations the way of Holiness.
The point that is being made here is that through out history the natural thinking of man has through it's power and authority tried to quench the spirit of the new converts to the way of faith.
Salvation has remained nominal in society because of this principle and this is why it is thought that just saying " I believe in Jesus" is salvation. Many people have an intellectual belief in Jesus and they believe that the historical man Jesus really is the saviour of the world but they do not know how to appropriate the salvation into their own lives. We need to know that it is not the natural man Jesus who saves us but the resurrected Jesus who became a life giving spirit able to give His life to us as we partake of His divine nature. Salvation must be a real spiritual revelation from within and a realization that the risen Lord Jesus is speaking into your life to start the resurrection process. This calling can happen in any person and they need not be a person living in a Christian country, they may be of a different religious belief but when God calls inside, then the process begins. It is the word of the Gospel that directs that person to Jesus as the only name by which man shall be saved and it is confusing for someone who hears God speak on the inside but has a man made religion working in their understanding.

Salvation does not come by a method or a system of steps or by any way other than by hearing the Word of God. The Word of God is living and active and sharper than any two edged sword and it can divide the self life from the spiritual life and reveal a glimmer of your true identity to your consciousness. The written Word of God will not save you nor will the words spoken by any person save you unless they are Words of life from within the spirit of that person who is in Christ. The written Word can open your understanding and you may receive revelation from the letter but it is the spirit of the Word that speaks on the inside of your heart and brings you salvation. Salvation may be a slow process and seed words may have been planted in your life long ago by believers and you may one day suddenly remember the word and start to awaken to your true identity as a son of God. The Bible says that the light of Jesus is in every person and all you need to do is seek after Him and when He appears a second time without SIN it will be unto salvation.

Many people who have followed Jesus have waxed cold in their love for Him and the Father because they are unaware of the process of salvation and they have become very disheartened. When people can't see the process of salvation then they are unaware of the way to respond to the will of God in their lives and they continue on in their own ways, which are contrary to God and spiritual development is nil or in a decline. We have shown in other studies the importance of understanding scripture because it is invaluable in coming to spiritual awareness of the plan of God for your own life. The types and shadows in the old testament show spiritual applications in the new testament and there are many necessary understandings shown, which will bring us into the life of Christ within our own lives. The old testament is like a spiritual picture book and in a way we all have been there in history for we all are one body in Jesus.

The pattern of the tabernacle is one very important study, which gives us the three basic stages of spiritual growth in our lives as we come into salvation. The three main points of the Tabernacle are shown to give us an understanding of salvation in the three main areas of our lives, spirit, soul and body. There are interconnecting stages also but we have only studied the three main stages given as main feast days of Israel. The first process of salvation is coming from the world where you know nothing of God to the outer court of the Tabernacle. This is likened to the crossing of the Red sea and it requires a step of faith even as you also believe by faith in the name of Jesus and you are saved by the blood of Jesus. This feast of Israel is called Passover and it is the stage where your spirit is quickened by the spirit of God and this is the salvation step. We can call ourselves saved in this feast because we have moved out of the world and into the courts of God but it is only the salvation of our spirit.

The next stage of our salvation is the feast of Pentecost and this is likened to the forty years where Israel wandered in the wilderness trying to get rid of the worldly influences of Egypt from within their own thinking. This is a feast of trials and it is a feast where God provides in a small way to give us a taste of His fullness. In this feast we are given spiritual gifts from God like healing, miracles, prophecy, teaching, wisdom, and many more but this is still only a foretaste of what is to come. In this feast we are to put on the mind of Christ and we are bitten by a serpent the devil until we surrender the ground within our own mind of our own self identity. The devil can only eat the dust nature of our lives as this is his job and when we recognize this is what the trial is for, we willingly give up all of our old nature and put on the incorruptible mind of Christ. This stage of Pentecost when complete will give us the salvation of our soul. So we will be complete in our spirit at Passover made perfect by the free gift of Christ's righteousness and we will be complete in Pentecost having the mind of Christ. These two feasts will make us thirty fold in passover and sixty fold in Pentecost, leaving only the redemption or salvation of our body to follow.

The next feast is the feast of Tabernacles and this feast is where there are no longer two people living in your vessel but one and that is the son of God who you are. The old nature of Adam was wrestled down in the feast of Pentecost and now the transformation of your body will commence because you are fully for God and not at all for your self, for self has completely died and you are a new creation man. It is in this feast that you realize that you are Christ and that Jesus is your elder brother and that you are like Him and that you always have been, only you did not know it before. There is a lot that happens in this feast and God will reveal all to you as you enter in. This process in salvation will give you an indestructible body and life eternal, your spirit will have gained dominion over your earth and you will no longer try to think for yourself.

Salvation is a much under rated word and it has a misconstrued meaning, it has brought much tribulation to people over the ages of time. Many people think that they are to die to go to some heaven out there somewhere but in reality heaven is on earth and we don't die. We are already dead in Christ and we have defeated the grave because Jesus has tasted death for us and we are resurrected in Him into eternal life. Salvation is attained simply by believing that God raised Jesus from the dead and confessing it from your mouth and opening your heart to God. God will have His will in you but not against your own will. It is the laying down of your will to God and allowing God to do His good pleasure in you that will save you into eternal life, for you are the Temple of God. You remaining in the seat of power is an abomination to God for He made you to have as His son, who shares his life with Him as He shares His life with you together as ONE and no longer two.

Many people look to the man for teaching and many run from here to there to receive blessings when all of the time the blessing is from God who lives within you. The Bible says that you need not that any man should teach you, for you have an anointing within you and when the Holy Spirit of Truth has come then He will lead you into all Truth. The desire to be saved will open your heart to know the God within you and God will speak within you, for His faith is already there waiting for you to respond to His grace. It is the grace of God that saves you by the faith that He places within your own heart and it is the hearing of the Gospel that ignites the spark and gives you a revelation of Christ within you. This is the hope that we all have, the hope of Glory Christ in us and when we first recognize that there is an anointing or Christ within us we can see the hope of the full glory, which is promised. Do feed this seed within you by wanting to hear the Word of God continually for this is how we grow. The inner man increases as we hear the voice of God through revelation and soon the outer man or the old man perishes as our mind is renewed. The old Adamic nature that we all are born with needs to be completely taken over with this new creation, which is being formed within, so hunger for God and be filled. We are to surrender our old identity and put on the new identity, this is dying to the self and it can be a challenge but knowing that the victory is already won and that you have already been crucified with Christ and resurrected in Him will enable you to just give all to the cross.

Be willing to give everything that you have and that you are to God for there is nothing of value in this material world. God knows your needs and He will not make you give up anything that you need but you must not value anything above God and the new life that He gives, for to hold onto something will cause you to stumble. Hanging on to old beliefs which God has given you can also make you stumble as we need to move on and continue in growing in the knowledge of God, what He plants in you He will also pluck up to make room for new revelation, so be prepared to change with His living WORD. It is when you can see that God created you and that you are not your own that you can say God I am Yours, I resist You no longer, have Your good pleasure in me. The good pleasure of God is to reveal His Son in you and this is what is happening as you lay down your will and say God have Your will in my life. We are made from the dust of the earth and we are also spirit, which is from God. There is nothing in us that is ours, we are His idea and we are His offspring, He wants to complete the work in us and make us just like Jesus His first born Son from the dead. It is only when we think that our old nature is worth something that we hold on to it and refuse to die but this only causes pain as the agent of God comes and causes torment in our lives until we surrender. Satan only works on the areas of our life that have no spiritual value and it is a good indicator of what has to be surrendered when we feel discomfort from the devil. The devil can only work in our unregenerated minds and when we put on the mind of Christ then the devil has finished his work and he no longer exists within you. The works of the devil are all in the way of relationships with other people and where there is unforgiveness or lack of love the tensions will mount until you surrender and forgive all people and love all people. Every other person is in the body of God's Son Jesus and when we are commanded to love our neighbour as ourselves we are actually commanded to love God for God is in all people and in all things.

So salvation is very simple, surrender to God when He speaks into your life and this is very easy to do now that you know the way. Jesus is the one who draws you and you call upon His name for salvation. Ask God to teach you to hear His voice and know that you can hear, so expect to grow very quickly in the knowledge and love of God. Ask God to give you the prayers to pray and ask Him to pray for you within you so that you are not speaking from your own Adamic nature. Ask God to give you the questions that you need to ask Him for spiritual growth, keep on asking and you will eventually just be all that He is. God has said that we are the Temple of God and as such we are to allow Him into our lives to reign, so open up your Temple to God and purify yourself even as He is pure. Do not try to do things to please God or try to earn your salvation by doing things to be right with God, for you already are right with God and He holds nothing against you, you are blameless before Him because of the blood of Jesus and He wants you to come out of self condemnation. He has given you His righteousness and He has forgiven you your SIN and all you need to do is say to God I want to be reconciled to you, I want to allow you to make the necessary adjustments to my life to become all that you have purposed for me to be. You need to be aware of the wayward ways that you have had towards God and turn from them unto His way but there is nothing that you can do to make it right with God on your own so don't even try, apart from surrender.

This repentance of old ways is necessary and it means that you change your mind about the way that you think. You now are no longer to think for yourself but rather set your mind on the spirit and be renewed in the spirit of your mind having the mind of Christ, which is to do the will of the Father. Christ always was in the spirit and lead by the spirit, of Himself He could do nothing and He only said what He heard the Father say or did what He saw the Father do. This is the life of faith and it is different from the life of self where we used to think for ourselves and pleased ourselves what we did. The ways, which we had as the Adamic man were self destructive and destructive to others as well. This new life in Christ is one of giving to others rather than taking and it will be easy when you ask God to do it in you and not even try yourself.

When you have received Christ and you believe, then it is a matter of being baptized into death with Christ in water baptism, this signifies that you know you are dead in Christ and that you are alive in the new creation as a completely new person, a Christ person. This is a sign that you have repented and received the feast of Passover or the quickening of God in your spirit. The next feast is entered when you receive the laying on of anointed hands, the baptism in the Holy Spirit, where spiritual gifts are imparted to you and this is done when God ordains it for you by divine appointment, if you hunger for it, it will happen. The feast of Tabernacles comes as you have fought your way through Pentecost and God starts a work in you like no other and you will know it. The first feast is a gift to you, the second feast is trial for you and the third feast is something that you enter into as you learn to rest in God.

Ask the Lord Jesus to come into your heart today if you believe that the Father raised Him from the dead or if you would like to believe it. Asking is the KEY and Jesus has the keys to hell and death even as He is the way, the Truth and the Life eternal. He is the master Key to unlock every door and when He knocks just ask Him in and He will unlock the door of your heart.

20 "Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.

When Jesus does enter your life then open the door of your heart continually to Him and you will grow, you will have an open heaven when you desire Him. Remember that there is help at hand for you to grow in communion with the Lord and it is good to fellowship with the saints and always ask God to have His angels ascend and descend on you for spiritual transformation and for the building of your new body. Ask everything in Jesus name for the glory of the Father and soon you will receive the glory of God as He fills His Temple which you are.

The angels are here about you for your spiritual development and for the opening of you heart to God so ask God to send them.
